Mystical Kipper

The German system of divination, which is more than 100 years old, has been given a vivid new face thanks to the work of Urban Trösch, using an intricate technique. Trösch painted images on small wooden plates that were primed with chalk. Then layered colors of eggs in tempura were applied to them. The result was a work of art with great luminous power. What distinguishes Kipper's 36-card deck from the Lenormand deck is the preponderance of cards depicting people. When the cards are spread out, we see many faces looking back at us, making this deck ideal for questions about personal relationships.
